Thank you for choosing #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO to provide your sweet items for your special occassion. Please see below the Terms and Conditions of our agreement.

Consultation, Quotes and Ordering

1. Consultation and quotes are free. Please provide sufficient information, requests and details of the cake required in order to receive an accurate quote.

2. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO can provide two (2) designs sketches or drafts for you to choose from, providing a payment of non-refundable AUD$50, which will be applied to the 50% deposit or final payment amount.

3. Please respect intellectual property and the original designs or creations. You will have to agree not to share/expose #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO's original designs without permission. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO reserves any rights to take legal actions towards any unethical or illegal acts.

4. Please note that #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will not copy another Cake artist's work which involves copyrights. We will however, get as close as we can to the design you request. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO cannot guarantee to match 100% of colours or texture of any designs. We will do our best to make the closest possible to your requested features.

5. All your requirements must be stated. If we have no knowledge of an item you want, #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will not be liable for a decoration omission.

Allergies, dietary requirements and special notes

1. Our cakes may contain milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. You agree to have full responsibility for informing your guests regarding the content of the cakes and hold #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO harmless for all allergic reactions. If you have any allergy concerns please notify us during ordering. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will happily try our best to work within your restrictions; however, it must be noted that the kitchen processes these known allergens and cross-contamination may occur. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO takes no responsibility for personal injury to the client or guests occurring due to consumption of our cakes or cookies.

2. Some designs requires Fresh florals or toy figurines as toppers. You can provide your own toppers and #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will perform food safety procedures to make sure the toppers are safe with contacting the cake. Due to this procedure some unavoidable damages (e.g. loss of paint or colour) might occur and #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will not be responsible for these damages.

3. If you require to have a custom made or personailised topper please ensure the booking is made at least four (4) weeks prior to your pick up date. This allows enough time for customising from a third party supplier and postage.

Payment, Changes and Cancellations

1. No cake will be started without funds. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. All details and requests, venue/collection information should be confirmed at this time. The final total is due one (1) week prior to the agreed cake collection date. Any requests for changes less that one (1) week prior to the collection date may incur a further fee.

2. We understand that sometimes things do not worked out as planned. If your circumstances change and you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as you can. If this is more than seven (7) days prior to the event date, #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will happily credit your booking fee to another date within six (6) months of the original event date. If cancellation occurs less than seven (7) days prior to the event, the deposit is not refundable.

Pick up,Delivery, set-up and hand-over

1. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO does not have its own delivery team. If customer agrees to use/hire a third party to pick up/delivery the order, #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will not be responsible for any errors or accident happened after the products are out of our hands.

2. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO to complete this agreement. We are not responsible for Acts of God, traffic, or any other causes beyond our control. Please be aware we are located in Australia where extreme weather might occur. Any accidents caused by weather conditions might cause cakes to melt or harden up. We will do our best to avoid accidents to happen. Please follow the storage and serving instruction provided by us in order to keep the cake in its best condition.

3. Australia's weather is unpredictable. High temperatures and wet weather can adversely affect your cake. Please keep the ambient temperature around 20-23 degrees celcius. If it is a particularly warm day, your cake would do better inside in the air-conditioning. Buttercream cakes should be kept in the refrigerator and removed a few hours prior to serving so that they may return to room temperature for best enjoyment. Fondant cakes should be kept in a cool room and not refrigerated. Cakes travel best in the empty footwell of your passenger seat, with the air-conditioning on.

4. Late Pick up or change of collection date is acceptable within 2 days. The cost or deposit is non refundable if any last minute cancellation occurs.

5. You are responsible for providing an appropriate, secure table and environment for the cake(s). 20 degrees Celcius or below. Once the cake is handed over to recipient(s) or completed set up, we will not hold any responsibilities to any damages or faulty.

6. If you would like your cake to be delivery to a restaurant or a third party venue, it will be your responsibility to ensure the venue has someone reliable to receive and store your cake properly. If the venue is not be able to receive the delivered cake (e.g. venue closed or refused to collect) and the cakes have to be returned/deliver to a second address, you the client will be responsible for the extra delivery fees. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO will not be liable to any incident occur in these cases.

Photos, Media and Socials

1. On occasion we will photograph our cakes. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO reserve the right to use any photo for display &/or promotions without compensation to you.

2. If you wish for your cake to not be shown on social media, please indicate this at time of booking. No footage of your children or guests will be used without express written permission.

3. Respect Intellectual property and copyrights. Please credit all the photos you extracted or share from #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO official website or social media. Photos taken by yourself are not subject to this term.

Complaints and Compliments

1. #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO aims to provide a 100% satisfaction experience for you and your guests. If there is any dislike or dissatisfaction please inform us within 24 hours of your event date. Please also provide proof of dissatisfaction (e.g. photos) if you have a refund request. We will try our best to compensate you if the complaint is reasonable.

2. If you are pleased with the experience provided by #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO, it will be greatly appreciate if you can provide us a review or testimonial on #CAKEBYCINDYCECILIANGO's Facebook page, Instagram or a testimonial for our official website. All reviews become the property of the business and may be used for marketing purposes; however, names and personal details will always be withheld for your privacy.
